Graduation

It's hard to believe after 4 years this day has come and gone. I graduated with my Masters in Teaching on December 20th. It was a little surreal to think that after going to class and worrying about papers and projects that I am completely finished! There were about 2000 graduates from doctoral students to undergrads. I got to walk across the stage as I heard my name mispronounced (big surprise). I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty proud of myself. Now what to do with all my extra time....

All the graduates listening to the speaker.

Before graduation, getting ready to go in.
My favorite picture! I loved I got to take my little guy with me as I walked across that stage! I am 28 weeks here!

Our Nursery!

Here it is! So much love and hard work was put into our little nursery and it turned out better than we had hoped. Ryan was a painting fool and I was the leveler! Each color on the stripe took about 5 hours. It took a lot of time, but it was worth it! This is as much as we have done until we get some shower stuff to fill it. Enjoy!

Vinyl lettering on the wall. Deuteronomy 31:6. Ryan wanted a verse on strength and courage. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will not leave you nor forsake you."

Ryan's sister passed down her crib to us. Thanks Brittany! It looks great! The letter of the first name is now above the crib, but we couldn't take a picture of that! It's a surprise!

I can't believe how long it's been since I updated this. Sorry...not like this blog has tons of readers anyway! This past weekend was wonderful as we got to travel up to Ohio for the Bloom-Dixon family reunion (Andrea's side). It was in Amish country which really was kind of a hoppin' location! Surprise! The best part of the weekend was spending time with our little nephew Jack. He is 3 1/2 months old and such a joy!
